David Deffenbaugh is the preaching minister for the Southwest congregation in Oklahoma City. He’s worked with Southwest since 2013. He’s been preaching full time for 36 years and has served congregations in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri. He was educated at Oklahoma Christian and has made over 30 mission trips to Ukraine. David is the author of three daily Bible reading and devotional books: Strength for the Journey ('07, co-authored with Bill McFarland), The Road Home ('15), and Better Days (’17). David and wife Tanya have been married 38 years and have two married children and three grandchildren.
